Scorpion Plans

real scorpion

Okay, Gotcha! Now let's quit goofing off and get down to the real thing.

disassembled scorpion
Doesn't look as menacing with his legs & stinger pulled, huh?

All together
I really enjoy making this one, at first I was making them too small, but now they are a bit larger they're easier to make. Maybe not a good toy for kids, but a different type of gift. These plans run $8.50 postage paid in the USA. It involves no carving, only sawing and sanding. I use a bandsaw with a 1/8 inch blade, but I'm sure a scrollsaw would work, a 4 inch X 36 inch sander and a Dremel rotary tool. A drill press helps too...

These make great gifts and toys, kids love them. If you'd rather buy one already made, just click here.

If you'd rather, you can just send a check or money order,
